Each athlete, and personnel from NBC, who arrive at Sochi have to be thinking, at least once, if not several times 'Please get me out of Sochi alive.'

When the IOC(International Olympic Committee) chose Sochi, Russia as host for the 2014 games, it had to be the worst mistake made by the IOC.

The IOC is one crooked organization who looks for and takes kickbacks from every host country and Russia is the literal bed of fraud and corruption. The only worse decision the IOC could have made was to award Chicago any event whose application for the 2016 games were fortunately turned down as chicago is the kingpin city of graft and under the table deals.

My prayer for these kids from everywhere is that the "adults" remember that they are there for the "sports" and nothing else. Hopefully those who are intent on causing chaos and death will remember this too. These are kids who work their tails off to compete, and since it only comes every 4 years, let them fulfil their dreams safely. Save the political crap for another day. I want to say, GO USA, but I also like to pull for the underdogs - like the sledding team from Jamaica (?). To the Politician's, keep the judges on the straight and narrow when it comes to judging, and also, set politics aside for 30 days and let everyone have fun, and perhaps get to know Russia. But, to all the athletic's, do be cautious and remember you're there to do your best, but have fun too.

Another Winter Olympics spoon-fed to us by NBC, focusing inordinately on "cool" sports like snowboarding and prepackaged for prime time. Vomit.

I hope it is a great Olympic event. No one getting hurt. All respecting each other and many gold winnings for all countries. Maybe it will get through that this is a wonderful way to make friends and peace. amen.

Then the terrorist’s win. There are times that you have to take risks to prove that they have not changed your life.

Who is supporting the Olympics this year?? I'm not!!

What does it take to prepare for SOCHI.....apparently DOG Poison!

Shame on the committee for picking Sochi and shame on the athletes that continue to support such heinous behavior by allowing the town to kill innocent dogs for the sake of "cleaning up".

I'm embarassed none of the US Olympians have spoken out!

Dogs in many places of the world are not as loved as they are in Europe and America.
